UW Tacoma Hosts Guest Lecturer Jake Nyman
The owner of Olive Group, Jake Nyman, recently spoke to the VIBE (Veterans Incubator) at UW Tacoma. Jake was invited to speak to the audience for their weekly brown-bag series as part of UW Tacoma’s offerings to military veterans interested in beginning a career as an entrepreneur. Thomas Kuljam runs the VIBE program at the University of Washington Tacoma and this is what Thomas had to say about Jake:
“Jake started the Olive Group over 12-years ago in Los Angeles, then moving his business to Seattle, and finally realized Tacoma was a better environment for his company. He and his family moved to the Stadium District four years ago. Proven track record in the multi-media industry, Jake helped many businesses maximize their full potential resulting in better outcomes for the business owners and their customers. Jake is the Vice President and board member of the Transportation Club of Tacoma, and board member of the Tacoma Technology Hub and Tacoma Community College.
