How we built brand authority for a 40-year Pacific Northwest commercial contractor.
C. Fisher Construction, a Burlington-based commercial general contractor with 40+ years of regional history, partnered with Olive Group to modernize its brand, PR, and web presence.
The challenge
C. Fisher Construction had built a strong regional reputation over four decades, but its brand presence didn’t reflect the caliber of the work. The website was dated, the PR motion was inconsistent, and inbound RFPs were coming from word of mouth alone.
The goal wasn’t aggressive lead generation. It was authority. CFC needed to look like the company it already was — so that when a development team in Western Washington was evaluating GCs for a big-build project, CFC was on the shortlist by default.
What we did
Brand refresh and positioning
We sharpened the positioning around “Promise Big, Deliver Bigger” — the operating principle CFC had lived by for decades but wasn’t telling its market about. New brand system, new voice, new visual identity.
Web rebuild
Conversion-focused site architecture built around the project portfolio. Every page is now optimized for the four verticals CFC owns: agricultural and food processing, industrial and aerospace, retail, and tenant improvement.
PR program
Project announcements for every major groundbreaking, hires, and milestone. Distributed to Pacific Northwest business press, agricultural and industrial trade outlets, and local Burlington/Bellingham media. Consistent drumbeat instead of one-off press releases.
Content engine
A monthly content cadence designed to be cited by buyers researching commercial contractors in the region — and by the AI answer engines that will increasingly mediate that research.
The outcome
The market now sees C. Fisher Construction the way the company has always seen itself: as the obvious choice for Pacific Northwest commercial projects when quality matters more than the lowest bid. The leads don’t need to be chased — they show up because the brand earns them.
