D. Marie Interiors is an interior design firm based in Ellensburg, WA with a long-running direct-to-consumer wallpaper store. Olive Group’s mandate: build local search dominance for their kitchen design and remodel services while expanding the wallpaper store’s organic footprint nationally.
The challenge
D. Marie Interiors had built a strong reputation in Central Washington for high-end kitchen design and remodeling — and had been running a successful DTC wallpaper operation for years. What was missing was search visibility. Potential clients in their target cities weren’t finding them, and the wallpaper store’s organic reach hadn’t kept pace with the brand’s actual depth of expertise.
The goal was a content push on two fronts simultaneously: establish page-one presence for kitchen services across more than a dozen Central Washington cities, and build the editorial depth needed to grow national wallpaper traffic over time.

We also rebuilt all 8 core site pages (Homepage, About, Services, Projects, Contact, Blog, Communities We Serve, Thank You) for stronger technical SEO and cleaner conversion flow.
Content at scale — 24 posts in one month
A single-month content sprint produced 24 new posts: community-specific service pages targeting kitchen layout help and remodel design across target cities, plus editorial wallpaper and tile content building topical authority for national search. Topics included peel-and-stick wallpaper installation, grasscloth and textured wallpaper trends, tile drenching, powder room design, and city-specific kitchen remodel guides — content built to rank in both Google and AI search assistants.
The results
Within the first major content push, D. Marie Interiors landed multiple #1 rankings for their highest-value kitchen service keywords across Central Washington cities simultaneously. By end of month, they held page-one positions in 12+ markets, with remaining cities in active optimization.
